Romy Riddick
Romy Riddick is Vice President, Diversity Leader, TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank. Romy leads the strategic planning and implementation for all aspects of the Bank’s diversity and inclusion effort for the US Bank. She works closely with Diversity Leadership Team, and oversees the Office of Diversity.
Romy joined TD in February of 2009 and since that time has led the organization to roll out leadership and management training, and establish programming aimed at the recruitment, retention and advancement of traditionally underrepresented groups. In this role, Romy is committed to leading the organization in achieving effective diversity management and shepherding the organizational savvy on the business benefits of inclusion.
Her diversity and inclusion work spans across both public and private sectors. Romy began her career as a legislative aide in state government, where she was responsible for researching and writing testimony aimed at benefiting women and children for a Women’s Caucus. Romy has managed national diversity recruitment for PricewaterhouseCoopers and, as a former trainer in the organizational development department for Merrill Lynch, Romy delivered diversity training to management across the organization.
She has received the prestigious National Black Achievers in Business Award, was named a “Professional to Watch” by Black Enterprise Magazine, and has been featured in the New York Daily News for telecommuting trailblazing success as a new mother. She has served on the Women’s Multicultural Planning Committee for Working Mother Media. Romy has also received the CEO Wow Leadership Award and the Vision in Action award for her service at TD Bank.
Romy is the mother of three and married to her high school sweetheart. She resides in NJ with her family.
