Synopsis
This three-quarter day Conference will provide Maine businesses practical and concrete information on:
- Who will comprise Maine's workforce in the future;
- How to effectively recruit employees with barriers to employment;
- How diversity can reduce legal liability and expand the bottom line; and
- The importance of diversity in a global economy.
Who will attend
This conference is aimed at business leaders and decisions makers, as well as the human resource community. We anticipate approximately 200 attendees. Continuing education credits will be offered for human resource professionals.
Business Awards
Each year Working Together gives out three awards to businesses that have shown outstanding commitment to employing people with disabilities. We seek nominations for these awards, and encourage businesses to self-nominate. Go here for details.
